Product overview
Many serious fire accidents are caused by fault arcs in power lines that are below the rated current or expected short-circuit current. These dangerous arcs may occur on poorly designed or aging power supply lines, electrical plugs, power lines of household appliances, internal wiring harnesses, or insulation of components.
When a fault arc occurs, protective devices such as leakage, overcurrent, and short circuit on the line may not be able to detect the fault arc or quickly cut off the power supply, which can easily cause a fire.
Product Features and Applications
This product is a fault arc detector, which is an independent fault arc fire detector with the characteristics of small size, multiple functions, strong reliability, and easy installation. The product complies with the national standard GB14287.4-2014 and can effectively detect fault arcs (including fault parallel arcs and fault series arcs) in the access line. It is widely used in modern large-scale buildings, public gathering places, and first-class high-rise buildings; In low voltage line places such as shopping malls, sports halls, auditoriums, theaters, large hospitals, schools, subway and large enterprise factories.
PRODUCT FUNCTION
1) Basic function: It can accurately determine the normal arc and fault arc on each phase line, as well as the temperature of one contact. When a fault arc is detected, an audible and visual alarm is issued, and an alarm signal is sent to the monitoring equipment. The location information of the fault point is also transmitted to the monitoring equipment to locate the fault location.
2) Mute function: eliminate alarm sounds; When a product detects a malfunction, it will sound an audible and visual alarm. The alarm sound can be eliminated by pressing the mute button on the panel, and the alarm light status will remain unchanged after silencing.
3) Test function: Confirm whether the product function is normal; When the product is in a no alarm state, press and hold this button for 5 seconds to enter the alarm state. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the product to its normal working state.
4) Reset function: This product has a reset function; If the product detects a fault in the circuit, it will sound and light an alarm. After eliminating the cause of the fault in the circuit, the product can be reset by long pressing the reset button for 5 seconds. With a beep sound, the product is successfully reset, eliminating the product alarm state.
5) Communication function: This product has a built-in wireless communication module, which can be directly connected to the server when turned on. It can also communicate with the upper end fire control system through the RS485 serial bus, and the detected line status can be uploaded in real time. The lower end fault arc detector can be reset through the upper end fire control system to achieve intelligent unified control and management. (Note: The 485 communication cable cannot be reversed).
6) Alarm/release function: This product has an alarm function and is equipped with external alarm devices, such as large alarm speakers. When a malfunction occurs, in addition to emitting an audible and visual alarm, it can also output an alarm signal switch to achieve the function of fire linkage. The tripping function of this product can be controlled by a 24VDC fire signal to trip the connected equipment, achieving the function of fire linkage.

Before installation, cut off the power supply of the upper input line to ensure personal safety:
Do not operate the device in a damp or condensed environment;
Do not operate the device in an environment with flammable gases and water vapor;
Do not place the device outdoors to avoid getting wet or exposed to direct sunlight;
The service life of this product is 6 years, and it should be replaced at that time.
Do not connect signals beyond the range to the device to avoid damaging the instrument.
