Scope application

YJSCB-40 SPD backup protector provides professional backup protection for SPD (lightning protection device) that provides first level, second level, and third level equipment protection for power supply.

Suitable for places where SPD lightning protection equipment has been installed, such as power equipment in various industries such as industrial and civil construction, electrical, communication, road transportation, and petrochemical.

1. Selective breaking of passing power frequency current and lightning current can effectively protect SPD from melting through short circuit caused by abnormal transient overvoltage, resulting in serious fire accidents.

2. Selective disconnection of the passing power frequency current and lightning current can effectively protect SPD from serious fire accidents caused by the deterioration of SPD, resulting in the starting voltage dropping below the power supply voltage and the increase of power frequency leakage current.

3. When lightning current passes through the SPD, this external disconnector will not trip incorrectly, ensuring that the lightning protection of the electrical equipment is always in an effective state.

Normal working conditions

1. Surrounding air temperature

a. The upper limit value shall not exceed+40 ℃.

b. The lower limit value shall not be lower than -20 ℃.

c. The average value within 24 hours shall not exceed+35 ℃.  

d. The maximum operating temperature is -40 ℃~+75 ℃.

2. Altitude

The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 meters.

3. Atmospheric conditions

a. When the ambient air temperature is+35 ℃ and the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%, at lower temperatures

There can be relatively high relative humidity under the temperature.

b. When the monthly average lowest temperature of the wettest month is 20 ℃, the monthly average relative humidity is 90%.

c. We have taken into account the condensation that may occur on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.

The pollution level used for the protector is level 3.

5. Installation category

Installation categories are II and III.

6. Installation conditions

a. The protector can be installed vertically or horizontally inside the cabinet, and special requirements require special ordering.

b. It should be installed in a medium without explosive hazards, and there should be no gas or conductive dust in the medium that can corrode metals and damage insulation.

c. It should be installed in a place without rain or snow invasion.
